Indian Ceremony and Reception
In September we had the privilege of meeting the Chhatrala family. They booked us to do their video and photos. It was a very unique event. It was a one day event and they were celebrating the engagement of one couple (or as they call it “engagement puja”) and they were also celebrating the reception of two other couples. So there we a total of three couples who were celebrating that day.
It was our first Indian wedding and my wife and I had a lot of fun. It was unlike any event we had ever attended. The food, the people and especially the atmosphere was incredible. Everyone wanted to have their picture taken and be in the video. There were over one-thousand people in attendence.
Needless to say I did all the research I could to learn about the culture and the wedding customs.
